Brookwood Athletics: Our Mission
Every year, Brookwood High School has remained in the top 10 of the Georgia Athletic Directors Association’s Directors Cup’s largest classification. Brookwood's mission is to take student athletes where they cannot go themselves and to foster an environment that teaches young people to:
Build a foundation of academic success.
Build a foundation of leadership.
Pursue the state championship!

Meet Your Certified Athletic Trainers
Gwinnett Medical Center provides certified athletic trainers to 18 local high schools. These ATCs work under the direction of GMC affiliated physicians to provide traditional sports medicine services to your school.
If your student has an injury on or off the field your athletic trainer is here to help prevent, manage and assess orthopedic or musculoskeletal injuries and to facilitate access to medical care.

Hailey Hovda, MSAT, LAT, ATC, NREMT
Hailey is a native of Woodstock, Georgia. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia in Exercise and Sports Science in May of 2022. She then completed her Master's degree in Athletic Training at the University of Georgia in May of 2024. She completed immersions with the University of Georgia Football team, and Women's Soccer team. Hailey is a newly certified athletic trainer, in addition to being a certified EMT. Hailey's hobbies include working out, reading, hanging out with friends, and watching sports.
